A New Beginning

Perhaps the hardest thing for a preacher to endure is the death of a ministry which he/she has birthed, nurtured and poured his/her life into over a number of years. Certainly that is how I felt over the closure of Glory to the King Ministries International. I still have many unanswered questions, but have come to accept that I may never have the answers this side of heaven, and perhaps not even after I get there.

Of one thing I am sure: the call of God on my life that I felt when I was 12 years old (although at that time I didn’t know Him and didn’t have a clue what it was all about) and that was reiterated the day I was born again 12 years later, with His simple one-word command: “Preach!” still stands.

In wrestling through all the issues relating to the closure of GTK, I have come to the conclusion that God wants me to move out again in ministry to the wider Body of Christ. So I begin on this new adventure. It’s a little challenging, even a little scary, but I know that my Father has already seen all that lies ahead for me, and that He has already filtered it through His love.
